How many times do you have to slice a file before you get it right?

I'm at about 3 right now and it's frustrating as shit! A lot I can fix by manipulating the sliced images but most of the time the tables are just plain fuct!

How many tries does it take you?

now it takes me once with image ready

but when I first tried it took a LONG time to get it right

I've gotten pretty good at it. One of those things that takes lots of practice.

Just once. but I use fireworks so I can re-export image slice changes and HTML if I need to make a template change.

Using Photoshop, I place tons of guides all over the place as I go. Then, when I am done, I just use the auto-slice tool which creates slices from the guides I set. Last, I go through and modify slices to suit my purposes.

Fireworks here too - no problem.

One try with Photoshop.

Rather than making guides/slices I use the marquee tool to copy what I need, then line up the next selection adjacent to the active selection. Works like a charm.
