AssHat is out

Just resigned as AG

WarChild 11-09-2004 03:50 PM

Sorry, I guess you don't read enough GFY. Don't you know that Bush won and now John A. is going to smash the entire porn industry in to oblivion? You should be out looking for a job instead of spreading lies around GFY.

heymatty 11-09-2004 03:51 PM

Hopefully its good news :)

pornguy 11-09-2004 03:51 PM

I read that ASSHAT was talking about quitting no matter what,

candyflip 11-09-2004 03:52 PM

He has to start prepping for his Supreme Court nomination.

Well he really needs to check GFY first. Without him staying as Attorney General he won't be able to put us all out of business or in jail. If he can't do that, it means the Liberal left at GFY was wrong again and I refuse to believe it's possible.

Paul Waters 11-09-2004 04:38 PM

Isn't Colin Powell next?

If you're making a living slinging porn, then to some degree, you are a part of that 'liberal left'.

Only a liberal would think they have a right to profit making money from depictions of people having sex. This biz isn't accepted by Democrats, Republicans, or the majority of 'mainstream America'.

My point is not to insult you. But continually bashing 'liberals' as a stereotype is about as intelligent as liberals calling all conservatives toothless wonders. And you live in a glass house.

I don't believe in social programs.
I don't believe in tax and spend.
I don't believe in gay marriages.
I'm happy to take people's money from porn.
I'm not religious.

That makes me somewhere in the middle. When I refer to "Librals" I mean the extreme left and not just anyone that isn't Republican.

Sure, I understand that. And as I said, it wasn't so much an attack on you personally.

I'm getting tired of the labels, I suppose. I'm all for issues.

I voted against Bush based on performance and concerns with the tail wagging his dog, not the fact I'm in this industry. I'm sick of being told that my vote was based on the fact that I think P Diddy is the shizzle.

I respect your right to have and hold any opinion you want. I might challenge you on it, but I respect your right to have it.

Labels are a bit stale, I'll completely agree with you there.

I find myself aligned with the Republican platform on most issues. That being said, I'd have voted Kerry in this election too. My mother and her husband, who are American, made sure to go out and vote at my urging.

:thumbsup

That's the one thing I was happy with about this election - voter turnout (on both sides).

My guess is that if you were to remove the political platitudes on both sides from the mix, and the media spin, that most Americans would find themselves on similar ground. EG - neither a rabid neo-con or a tree hugging leftist, but simply people with differing ideas on the usual issues (economy, homeland security, war in iraq).

Too bad both sides are creating a culture war. Be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Later asshat

Couldn't agree with you more. Well said.
