Can you run a paysite without accepting Visa?

How well does that work? Has anyone tried?

Edit: umm.. Of course someone has tried... I mean have you tried running it with AND without, and how big a difference was there?

yes you can and no it does not work well.

I believe some people have trieid but you miss out on like 70% of sales.

You can do everything but whats the purpose of owning a paysite without being able to bill everybody.

Because I think the Visa premiums are a ripoff... They are discriminating against the adult industry. Who else do they charge these fees to?

I know of a site that only accepted checks via mail. She still had sign ups. It was a single girl site and didn't make much.

She added Verotel and that made a difference.

Master Card really seems to have fallen off in favor of VISA generally.

Thanks, man. :) We're looking into it, we've got a financial backer... and I wouldn't think of doing it without an affiliate program.

Or without Visa, at this point...
