Does anyone have Halo 2? Worth buying?

My son won one yesterday in a tournament. He's pretty excited about it.

It's OK. Nothing special honestly. Just another first person shooter. If you've played any of them, then you've basically played halo 2.

I'm looking for something close to Socom2.... I dont like 1st person. I like 3rd much better.

Ghost Recon2 for xbox is coming out next month and it is over the shoulder view (3rd person) that also has 8 vs 8 like socom2...
