how to access folder roots "Index of /folder"

What do I need to do to allow access to folders on a domain:

i.e. How do I allow others to see the root "Index of /*folder*" which includes the folders and files in that directory?

It's currently setup so that when I access that root, I get redirected to my 404.

You need to have:

Options Indexes

In your .htaccess file.

If you place that in the root web, it affects every folder under there.

That's because I have all error documents setup in .htaccess.
