Here are some of the topics that we'd like to cover with this. We'd like feedback, and if anyone has something they want to see, we're welcoming suggestions.


1. The New Consumer Protection Act: New Rules for Doing Business Online in Canada

2. Recent Development in Canadian Privacy Law: Cross-border data flows and the Patriot Act

3. Bill C-20: Protection of Children and Other Vulnerable Persons: What it means for Webmasters

4.Canadian SPAM: The Current Law of SPAM in the Great White North

5. Doing Business in Canada: Critical Legal Issues for U.S. Technology Companies Carrying On Business in Canada.

I'd love to see a seminar about taxation (namely GST) within Canada. Seems most people aren't taking advantage of a GST exemptions and to hilight what you should / shouldn't be collecting. My 2c at least :)
