Muhammad and later the men who wrote the Qu'ran copied parts of Christianity and Judaism in order to convert people of those faiths. This largely failed so they killed them, enslaved them or made them dhimmis (subjugated people).

You won't learn much from a pamphlet though. You need to read the Qu'ran and Hadiths.

Does the pamphlet tell you about the Islamic concept of lying to unbelievers?
Does it tell you what the punishment is for leaving Islam?
Does it tell you that stones hop and ants talk?
Thought not. You need to read up on it more.

Keep in mind that the information contained in a "pamflit" has been filtered through the interpretation of the people who created it.

same goes for jews, it is ok for a jew to lie to a "gentile" (non believer)
