Why are they ASSUMING that it was an outside attack...by say Ben Laden etc....
this could very well be another Oklahoma City all over again.....which in my books is even scarier...

Let's all bear in mind that if we are at war with someone, it's whoever is responsible for this and whoever provided aid and assistance. It is not a war against Palestinians, Iraq, Arabs, or Islamics.

As a sidebar, think of how many companies were in that building, and of course all the dead and injured people are a tragedy (and what with the collapse, there are probably many more dead than injured), but what I'm getting at is think of all the records that were probably destroyed: insurance companies which either may have been wiped off the face of the earth and/or will no longer know who is a client and who is not (hopefully records are kept off-site, but suppose the entire staff got wiped out). The repercussions a huge.

Also, with easily 10's of thousands of people dead, there are sure to be people whose names are household words. Movie stars, politicians, and public figures of various sorts.

The scale of this thing is mind-blowing. CNN just showed film of the second airliner crashing into the second tower.

I was just thinking about they say 50,000 people work in those two buildings. Of the 50,000 that survived, they are suddenly jobless. Can you imagine that? Survive that disaster to realize you don't have a source of income, live in a city that people are evacuating, in a country where all the air traffic is grounded for the first time in history.

This stuff makes my stomach knot.

Oh man, you can even imagine how much it sucks for them - hope all the fucker burn in hell
