That's the specualtion, not confirmed tho...

it IS confirmed - civilian plane was heading toward Washington and didn't comply with landing requests. They took it down.

Well, that move was a must then. Unfortunately, civilians had to go down with it, but no chances can be taken for a situation as this.

Authorities say a plane has crashed near Camp David, Maryland. It was believed to also be headed for the Pentagon.

The famous Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre collapse and fall from the New York skyline, after being heavily damaged. It?s believed the crashed planes may also have had bombs on board, furthering the damage.

A plane crashes about 140 kilometres from Pittsburgh. The jet is subsequently confirmed to be United Airlines Flight 93, a Boeing 757 en route from Newark, N.J., to San Francisco, with 45 people on board.

All flights in the U.S. are cancelled, and all flights at Pearson Int?l. Airport are stopped until further notice. The airport braces for diverted American planes currently in the air.

Some news agencies report there are 4 planes unaccounted for and still possibly being flown by the hijackers.

Man, I actually went in the kitchen here and turned on the news... shit. When I saw a commercial on CNN, I knew that nothing like that had happened... came back and looked at the dates...

I felt dumb until I saw that I wasn't the only one fooled.

I have learned to check dates on those things I find alarming, I also think resurrecting this thread from 2 years ago was in bad taste.....if I wanted to relive 911, I would watch a video and I will not.
