What happened to babylon-x.com?
 

I think every old dog in this business remembers Babylon-X's celeb site with it's per-click programm. I made good money with them in the past. Now i typed babylon-x.com and i see a reality hardcore site. What happened?

wasn't that like 1999 or so?

babylon-x was the shit. there was a time there wasn't a single banner you could clic that didn't go to them

trax, how do you still make money with them? their celeb site is gone, isn't it?

It got hacked so many times and in so many ways that the password file got owned by about 2000 minimum and they each shared 20 passes on various boards and forums and the BW bill became outrageous... Not sure if that was what put them in the red but I am sure it didn't help any.

yep I use 2 see passwords to them all over the place

If only they paid a few grand a month to a security expert they wouldn't have had that problem...

I remember them from 97 till 2000 I think.

They were on all the big pass sites with fake passes (I never saw working ones anywhere) and got loads of traffic.

I think they were at least partial owned by Cybertania Inc who runs passwordhq.com and a few other big sites and may have gotten legal problems with the site some day.

They now run myfreepaysite.com which is all over the place and seems to get them some serious money which they surely need on their current Microsoft lawsuite.

I've been promoting them since 2001 if im not mistaken.
I noticed no huge changes.
