legality for sure, no amount of money is worth the feds friendly knock on your door

V_RocKs 11-07-2004 12:34 AM

Basically legality and it does a pretty fine job. I think I threw out a lot of morals to become an adult webmaster.

morality for me

Paul Markham 11-07-2004 12:36 AM

My rule is simples.

If I would not be happy to do it or have my my wife or daughters doing it in private I will not shoot or sell it.

Problem is too many today are unable to produce soft porn that sells, so they do extreme to make money.

When I started way back in 1997, I didn't know a thing about obsenity laws, and was shooting vanilla hardcore. Found out about them, and said, "screw that". I switched to just shooting softcore after about a month in, and have made a great living off it ever since. I only shoot softcore, and only promote softcore. I keep all hardcore off my servers.

Legality is first and foremost.
Morality is somewhat flexible depending on the degree of obsenity. For example, scats is mostly illegal but it is between concenting adults so I would feel alright with this still even though I find it disgusting. As another example, *if* CP was legal, I would still never promote it.

Legality is the key factor, anyone with half a brain should know that a buck isnt worth anytime in prison.

Morality doesn't really play any factor in decision making... it's business porn and morals don't go together.

Although CP is something I dispise, if it were legal I would not promote it.. noway in hell, i'd also make it a task to make anyone shooting CP's life a living misery.

that's a GREAT answer - for me the key phrase there is 'in private'

few people want their wife or daughter to star in porn for morality and other issuses but still view it themselves- if it's acceptable for your family to do in private - then it's acceptable for adult models to protray it for others to see and get off on
