Anyone have success with micropayments for feature article?
Hey folks -- I'm an industry writer doing a feature story on specific techniques that can be used to add revenue to existing sites using micropayments or generate revenue from individual micropayment sites. The focus here is not on the overall market, where it's heading, or the tech side, although these will be touched upon. I'm most interested in techniques webmasters can use today to generate revenue given the market's past, present, and future (possibilities, limitations, market adoption, etc.). For example, I like some of the ideas in the following threads:
http://board.gofuckyourself.com/show...adid=329487&s= http://board.gofuckyourself.com/show...adid=329373&s= This is about ONLINE micropayments, not SMS or wireless billing. If you run a site that's successful or have increased revenue/profits with micropayments (the more specific numbers you can share the better) I'm interested in hearing from you. Anyone who wants to be included and get some free press, provided you have useful information on the topic, email me at xmktgpros (at) hotmail.com (my anonymous public email address) and I'll send you the questions. My deadline is tight and I'd need your responses by Monday morning. Thanks! David |
Oh, forgot to mention this is for the print version of webmaster mag Klixxx...

Well...
Micropayments is interesting concept however the rub is vested time cost vs income from the effort. Useful for large scale not useful for the common folk. |
