Who here remembers that they were my first Players Ball band? It was just after Brad died and they started Long Beach Dub All Stars. They played all of the classic Sublime tunes and the new LBDAS album, it was one of the very first performances after Brad.

Dope night.

Nobody really even knew that LBDAS = Sublime plus a few other band members around them. That was a fun night.

Silence. Sorry, but after years and years of listening to Sublime and Cypress Hill nonstop, because my stoner friends wouldn't listen to anything else, a band that was once OK is now a band that I am completely and thoroughly annoyed with. Bob Marley was on that same road, but thankfully stoners just say they like him without actually listening to any of his music outside of "I Shot the Sheriff" and "Get Up Stand Up".
