I am never polite. I simply say SHUT THE FUCK UP. Works every time

I say my good man, would you mind shutting the fuck up, there's a good chap.

It's probably more polite to actually say "shut the fuck up"
than to say stfu.
Also, if you say stfu, people may not understand you than they'd be all like "Stfu? wtf is that?" and stuff...
