Unfortunately too many people are making greasewater these days and calling it gumbo; no okra (the word gumbo means okra) or gumbo file (sassafras) and the number of people who put meat in seafood gumbo is rediculous. Time before last I got seafood gumbo it was a brown liquid with the only solid thing in it a half circle of sliced sausage.
