I'm not very supportive of this idea. However I doubt it has much impact on anything. lol.

In a way I agree with you! I own a Porsche, and they were always know for being a Sports car builder! And building SUVs and Sedans may cheapen that!

But with that said, times have changed! 15-20 years ago who would have thought Toyota or Nissan would be building full size picup trucks, and that japanese cars would have V8 engines!

Porsche is the highest earning automobile company of the world with a profit of 16,7% of their revenue. Volkswagen for example earns just 1%. So the idea of creating the Cayenne cannot be that bad. And I'm sure the sedan will do great too.

And all this doesn't change anything on the fact that they still build the best sportscars.

no, Im just a BMW lover :) Porche is cool, great driving, comfort, etc, but I dont like the look, mostly the lights.
