Should we nuke Fallujah?
There are only 50,000 civilians there. That's only half of the number so far killed in what America has declared a good thing.
If Sadaam alone was worth 100,000 civilian casualties surely 50,000 is a small price to pay for eliminating what our government says is the center of the insurgency? |
I don't mean nuclear weapons literally, but massive air carpet bombing that the insurgents would have no chance against rather than door to door slaughter of ours and theirs often never knowing who is who.

Just keep your mouth shut...

I am trying to see this from the prospective of those who say despite all it was worth it to get Sadaam. |
it would be like a giant mirror all that melted sand

The problem is people there that are inacent people there and have no way out of the place they reckon 1-2k of rebels which aint a lot really find out where they are then blow the fuck out of them i say!!!
The problem is Iraqis not giving us anough info blow the fuck out of them then the rest will be more scared of us then they'll give us the info. |

But seriously though. Let's discuss this with those who think the war on terror is on course. If we announce a deadline, first a good number of Fallujah citizens will leave prior (and a great number of chickening insurgents not quite ready to die for their cause). With 3000 insurgents they will of course hold many hostages. Some of those will die as will many of our troops in door-to-door fighting. Many more people will die later on from the insurgents who sneak out with the citizens rather than fighting. |
yes please...
let's escalate a holy war... we already started that process on the 2nd...might as well keep it up... it's SHOW time |

http://www.boston.com/dailynews/310/...up_morg:.shtml Military hospital sets up morgue, doubles staff in preparation for Fallujah assault By Jim Krane Associated Press 11/5/2004 NEAR FALLUJAH, Iraq (AP) The combat hospital on the chief U.S. base near Fallujah has set up a morgue and doubled medical staff and supplies in preparation for an expected stream of casualties from an anticipated assault on the rebel stronghold. ''We've had 20 to 30 casualties on a given day here. We expect maybe double that on a serious day. And we can handle them,'' Capt. Eric Lovell, a Navy doctor, said Thursday at the base hospital, a low concrete building announced by a sign saying ''Cheaters of Death.'' The hospital added a Marine Mortuary Affairs team last month, a unit charged with identifying dead troops, cataloguing their personal effects and preparing their bodies for the flight to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. The morgue team counts 16 reservists trained in handling corpses of U.S. troops as well as Iraqi civilians and fighters that arrive at the hospital here, said Commander Lach Noyes, a Navy surgeon. The morgue team also travels to bomb scenes to recover body parts and corpses that need to be extracted from vehicles, Noyes said. [...] |

Don't fuck with the US. Keep your hate at home. |

You seriously think the hate we have to deal with is confined in those city limits? I'd be great if that was all we had to deal with... |

Well, according to Jerry Falwell we should "blast them off the face of the earth in the name of the Lord."
:helpme |
civilians will get harmed because, as shown in the past, the insurgents will use them as human shields.

Walmart's contracting me to pave the place after they're done. New Middle East shopping superstore going in there. Hog farm in the back to keep the insurgents at bay. :ak47:

Bombs and bullets don't hurt .... |
Why are you people there in the first place? Wtf you want to nuke? Nobody asked America to invade Iraq.
|
Hell why not? Start the next 4 years off with a nice big bang to reward the voters...
|
You think insurgents are dumb enough to stay in Fallujah waiting for planes to strike at them? Most of them will move elsewhere and join other insurgent groups but some suicidal ones will stay.
But exactly how different would you be from Saddam? |
