Plans for Thanksgiving?

We're spending it in our new house with some out of town friends .... Oh I can't to eat tons and watch football!

What is everyone else doing?

LOL, I got out of OUR Thanksgiving with the in-laws by telling my wife I had to take off the American Thanksgiving.

So, while everyone else is off to work, I think I'll get up, wave to the neighbors and then go back to sleep.

Trading off Turkey for the in-laws was an EASY choice to make
:thumbsup

It will be three days of cooking....for ten minutes worth of overindulging.

It's my favourite holiday and I can't wait to get started on the wildly famous home made everything.....

Heading off to Atlanta to spend it with the folks, then back to Vegas 2 days later..

Can't put up with the parents AND step brother & sister longer than 2 days

My son is coming home and no one else in the family knows about it :) I'm picking him up at the airport and then we're going directly to my brother's house for a big T-giving day dinner with family and friends. :thumbsup

Since most of my family is worthless scum, I don't intend to be anywhere near them. Since CET's family is on the west coast, we aren't going to make it out there. So, since it'll be just the two of us on Thanksgiving Day, we're doing a Thanksgiving gathering for our friends the Saturday before, so that everyone who wants to show up can make it there. :)

I'll be cooking like mad, and everyone else is bringing stuff. Should be a lot of fun, and for Thanksgiving Day, we can have turkey sandwiches and leftover dressing and pumpkin pie!! :) :) :)

He had planned to do this for my niece's birthday in September but Ivan kept him in school the weekend he was coming. The family MAY suspect it since we were going to do it before but it will still be cool - I can't wait to see him!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

This time, I'm rather glad we're behind. instead of having one month with two holidays in it, we have three months with one holiday each, which makes the season a fun, happy time. :) I would get rather bent out of shape if I had a whole month with nothing to do between Halloween and Christmas! :helpme

I am VERY thankful for the friends and family I have and my only regrets are that I seem to have less and less time to spend with them :(
