I need MAJOR help...Can someone helpl me???

I can't stop fucken eating. I eat about 8 full meals a day, not counting all the junk foods and drinks. I just had dinner an hour ago, so I left to get a new cell phone, see a fast food joint, I figure I'll get the dogs some food, and I eat most of it.

It never stops. I don't do drugs so that's not it. Man, I used to have will power, what happend.

I have a wedding to go to this weekend, (Not mine so no worries there) and I can't get into any of my suits.

Anyone out there that can give me a motivating speech. And I don't want to see some body builder that has been working out his whole life.

Sad part is I never lay on the couch on watch TV, I am always on the go. But damn, I love food.

Anyone???

wdsguy 11-04-2004 09:40 PM

This thread just made me hungry

ytcracker 11-04-2004 09:40 PM

ive been blessed with high metabolism.

i think a regular workout schedule both relieves stress and helps you lose weight - if youre keeping busy youre inclined to eat less.

im seriously eating a fucking bowl of nachos right now so i dont know much about dieting.

xclusive 11-04-2004 09:43 PM

seriously man you should see a shrink about this...

newbreed 11-04-2004 09:43 PM

My speech for Dave...

i hit the gym every other day but i burn fat just sitting around

I wear a 36 pants size, so until that hits in the 40s, I think I will still fit in the Lambo. But nice Try.

That's not fat. I am the same weight but a little taller. Although I have a bit of a belly, it's all good.

I think it may be time for a current pic of Dave. We need some kind of gauge to keep some tabs on his efforts.

Post it up Dave.

OzMan 11-04-2004 10:02 PM

If you have suddenly gained weight from stress or specific personal issues see a shrink. Likewise check if it could be a medical cause.

If it has happened gradually then the cure is probably all about regularly taking a step back and watching yourself.

Habit can be your best friend or your worst enemy. You have let yourself slip into the habit of continuously eating and are now convinced your body needs it.

Just like a drug, wean yourself off it slowly until your willpower to follow the habit of eating sensibly and only when you are actually hungry becomes stronger than the energy you have put into the "I am gonna eat anything anytime" habit. :)

I'd hit it.

But seriously man, it's all OK. You look good for your age/size. Not all of us can have the beauty of Jucylinks. It's all in the eyes of the beholder, and without trying to sound gay, I think you look fine. Keep your head up and just be aware of what you are eating and doing and you will be fine.

I like food just as much as the next guy.. I'll eat up to 6/7 times a day. However this does have it's benefits when done properly, obviously eating 6 full sized meals a day is bad for you, but eating smaller portions of food through-out the day increases metabolism and will burn away the larger portions of food later, sort of an Atkins type of thing, except you dont gag yourself on meat.

Only thing I can suggest is cutting down on the portions of your food for a few weeks but keep eating 6/7 times a day at roughly the same time each day, and your metabolism will kick into high gear, and after a month or so you should be able to handle more food and still keep a good figure :thumbsup

Nice, lets see how long I can keep that going. Problem is if I have the whole meal in front of me, how can I only eat half of it.

It's liking having a hot girl in front of you but you can't fuck her.

But, I guess it all boils down to will power.

Magg 11-04-2004 10:10 PM

The guy asked for help and he gets beat up. What a sorry bunch you are.

Try and find a good nutritionist, preferably one with a Ph.D. You know you have to eat less and that's known by your post and a good start. (Whether or not it be on GFY is a different story)
If it's a serious heath issue and you care for your life, then take the steps to modify your habits.
Good luck

Drake 11-04-2004 10:28 PM

Their is no easy way out. You have to beat yourself up and resist the temptation. That's the ONLY way out.

gleem 11-04-2004 10:29 PM

here's one Dave:

Chicks hate fatties.

Always gets me away from junkfood during those weak moments.

Of course if you have enough bling it doesn't matter to them, but you have to imagine they are still thinking "I can't believe I am going to fuck this fat slob" when you take your clothes off. The horror of that thought is enough to keep me on the straight and narrow diet.

Drake 11-04-2004 10:32 PM

I was like you before the past 5 months. During that 3 year period I could just eat even if I wasn't hungry. Unlike you, I wasn't active so I gained quickly, not even realizing it. I was always a slim/athletic kid so I was dumbfounded that my metabolism and/or lifestyle could actually change me. I thought I could eat whatever, whenever, in whatever quantities.

I've been working out again (used to a lot on and off 6-7 years ago) and feeling good and looking better.

Problem is I just hate the gym. I had this idea years ago, they should put internet on the treadmills and by running it will keep you logged on. That way I can stay on and work at the same time.

frankfortuna 11-04-2004 10:43 PM

You must have a high metabolism, as you look perfectly normal, especially for someone who eats 8x a day.

If you're concerned about it, I think the nutritionist suggestion would be the route to go.

Not to sound mean but you are getting fat. If you really want to lose weight just substitute the junk food with water and exercise. It isn?t easy but do it before you reach the 200lb club then there is no way back.

Hope this helps. :glugglug

I was, then about 2 months ago I started fucking up and I've gained 15 of the 70 back, so I was back on it this week then tonight Casto made me eat 3 king sized candy bars. So I'll be back on it tommorow lol.

It's fucking hard man, if I had the tolerance for pain, I'd get my stomach tied off or something, I mean I can eat 4x what I should be able to and it makes me sick, but I don't care.

It's actually some hormone that your brain is supposed to release to let you know when you're full, and people like us have a delayed release or lack the production of the hormone which is one of the reasons we eat when we aren't really hungry. There's a drug coming out that's supposed to fix this, but I'm sure it's side effects will be something like anal leakage and incontinence. :winkwink:

Take a vacation to Egypt. You will be shitting non-stop the entire time you are there. You should lose about 10 pounds in one week.
