As for labels, Kerry was clearly a L I B E R A L but he was ashamed to admit it and also knew that Liberals (like McGovern & Dukakis) don't get elected, so he created a new identity and told the people ( after several polls of course), what he thought they wanted to hear rather than what he actually believed. Bush accepted the conservative label and everybody knew precisely where he stood on the issues.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Its just that when they disagree with anyone they tend to bash the fuck out of them. I look over to see where they are from. After all it does add some merit to the argument. 9 times out of 10 its blank. Makes one wonder.
