Just in ... press conference soon. He will resign some say as early as January.

But why? That's the question. Everything's been going his way and he had such big plans... so why the sudden desire to get out?

It very well could be he is being forced out too, maybe due to pressure from within? I find it hard to believe he would just resign without pressure from the big guy.

Maybe he was found to have porn all in his computers, lolol, so they don't want him spearheading the anti-internet porn committee, lol

I doubt that this is really what the motivation for the resignation is. More than likely he's the administration's sacrificial lamb. For the moment, anyhoe.

Doesnt he have something wrong with his Pancreas, and he's getting very ill? I thought that is the reaason he may resign. I don't think it will matter too much tho, the conservatives hold the house, senate and presidency, so who ever they bring in will be very similar to Ashcroft.
