immaturegirls.com

how do you feel about the name immaturegirls.com
i know it implies child porn in a way, but if it would be a completely legit site , all models 18 and older would the domain help me or hurt me?

how would you as a webmaster feel about promoting a site like this ?

how do you think would surfers respond to a name like this?

My wife is 31 ... and she is still immature ...LOL

But honestly ... I don't think I would touch it AG ... the undertone is much too strong ... same reason why LOLITA sites are now taboo, even though many of the girls in them were 18+ ...

im·ma·ture
adj.
1. Not fully grown or developed. See Synonyms at young.
2. Marked by or suggesting a lack of normal maturity: silly, immature behavior.

The domain definetly would be borderline although many sites do include 'young' in them, if you feel like using that argument.

P.S. Women are not fully developed until the age of 30 I believe.. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/biggrin.gif

Cheers

I don't think it is smart to use that domain.
Not illigal but it just sounds wrong.

JakeR 09-07-2001 05:56 PM

yea it does sound wrong.

Dopy 09-07-2001 06:01 PM

Do it !

Anything that attracts attention is a bonus.

If what you are selling is legal get on with your job of making money and don't listen to use of words dribble.

dank 09-08-2001 01:57 AM

there is nothing wrong with that domain name!

immature does not mean young!
The tens of thousands of people that host and go on talk shows everyday are immature!
Has nothing to do with being young!

And do you define young as under 18????
Do you define immature as being under 18???

If you do, then guess what?? You're wrong!!!

The law is not God and it is wrong for the law to be looked at as a guideline that is so set in stone that we define every
thing by it.

Young is what each individual person thinks young should mean.

And immature is what each individual person thinks it should mean.

No guideline or law can give a completely accurate definition!

Laws are filled with mistakes! And so are you if you think that this domain name is or should be looked at as illegal!

And if it is looked at that way then don't give in to what other people or laws tell you that you should believe about it!

Decide for yourself!

Free your mind!!!!

This is what i hate about laws having to do with age!

Everyone just stops using their brain!!!!!

What's wrong with you people???!!!

And in adult business too!!!!

I can't believe it!!!!

SonOfRage 09-08-2001 01:24 PM

CC 09-08-2001 02:34 PM

Would I promote it? Nope. I stay away from anything remotely questionable.

Can we say the law IS the law and jail food sux? You don't like laws then you get people to vote them down. Not just ignore them.

Rob Roy 09-08-2001 05:38 PM

Dank,
You're right. The term "immature" in this context doesn't mean younger than 18.
It means -- quite straightforwardly -- preadolescent.

If your site focused on emotional issues, then "immature" might have a meaning unrelated to age. But with a site that shows pictures of naked bodies, "immature" has a very clear and specific meaning. And no number of lengthy rants will change that.
Wouldn't touch a site or program with that name with a 10 ft. pole http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif.

CDSmith 09-08-2001 10:39 PM

Bang on Rob

Why is it so desirable for some webmasters to push the line in the direction of catering to those seeking underage girl content??? Why?? Do such people have more money to spend? Do they buy more memberships? no really, do they? I doubt it. I'm sure there are just as high a percentage of cheap-ass freeloading psuedo-pedophiles ars there are of regular surfers. So what the fuck is the big attraction for targeting your ad copy and domain name to attract these people??? WHY!???

The domain name is immaturegirlscom, not simply immature.com, and it's to be an adult site with pics of young girls I presume. Add all that up and it just smacks of catering to those sick fucks that are sharking the net for the really young girls. I just don't like the connotation of the name and what it implies, and that's my right to not like it. Whether it's admitted or not, this type of "pushing the line" just creates more of a market and demand for people to abuse and use more kids for their fucked up websites. If one site is having success with pushing the line this way, then someone else is bound to push it further to get the traffic, and so on and so on.

I have a few teen sites too, and there's nothing at all wrong with saying loud and clear on the site that all models are 18+ and of legal age. I suppose if the site of immaturegirls.com were done really professionally and stating everywhere that the models are all 18+ then it might be okay. Might. It'd be living much more dangerously than I'd care to do though.
