beacuse Bush is Antichrist .... or Bush is Lord .... :( :helpme

how do you think ?

Vendot 11-04-2004 06:17 AM

Guys on a serious note - it seems that GWB got re-elected because they really targetted the "church going vote" through intensive leafleting and campaigning in churches. Now church goers are more likely to vote and tend to be swayed on moral issues rather than elsewhere. Apparently the Bush campaign sent upto 80 million leaflets. They really blitzed it!!

Im well aware that Bush is being accused of "Christian Fundamentalism" but to be its just totally WEIRD that they can be swayed on moral issues like abortion and gay rights and yet not be repulsed by Bush over Iraq and other disasterous decisions he has made.

In a word - it just doesnt make sense. It think either half your country is fucked up or something weird happened during this election.

He got the Christian Fundamentalist voters to get in the game with the all the trappings of a promise of a pure, clean, decent, family oriented paradise.

There will be no gay marriage, no porn, no drugs, no teen pregnanices, no interracial marriages, no abortion, nothing that isnt whole sweet pure and clean as the driven snow in the Bush view of the US.

Bush played on the ideals that "can" be achieved, not what has he actually accomplised (or lack thereof) in the last 4 years.

I cant wait to see all the promises that W made them get tossed under the bus now that he's back in the office.

W will succeed at uniting the middle east and not as our allies here in the US. Its a shame that we all cant just be cool and get down to the business of business.

Im moving to Europe, the foods better and the view is nicer.

ezrydn 11-04-2004 06:48 AM

Could it be because there were more informed people than you?

Could it be because more people didn't buy Michael Moore's bullshit?

Could it be because the Democratic Party lost contact with the majority of the American People?

Could it be that you, TOO, are a "single issue" voter?

Could it possibly be that it was YOU that was wrong and stupid?

Or, does the world just have to revolve around YOU?

Boil it down and you backed a loser from the start. Everyone told you so and you decided to side with the Far Left.

kenny 11-04-2004 07:05 AM

I think Michael Moore had a bigger influence on costing Kerry the election

Mr Dickovitch 11-04-2004 07:16 AM

Kerry and his wife were extremely annoying. If you can't see why he lost you are an idiot yourself. You stupid foreigners can go insane all you want but the fact is you don't know anything about Kerry and how much of a douche bag he is.

Also he said he was just going to do the same thing Bush is doing now so what difference does it make? The only difference between Kerry and Bush is that Kerry was going to raise taxes. His campaign sucked so he lost, get over it.

If the Democrats would have had a real candidate they would have won.

You do realize it isn't just foreigners going insane? Something like 54 million Americans voted for Kerry and he didn't win. They're the ones going insane.

I agree!!!

Rochard 11-04-2004 07:32 AM

While I believe most people wanted Bush out of office, the problem is Kerry never started to tell us what he was gonna do. He seemed to have a plan for everything, but he never told us what his plan was.

Bingo!

I do not believe the Southern vote was lost because they are a bunch of mindless church goin' rednecks. We lost the south because we lost touch with the south and ignored them. The south has always been a strong hold for the Democratic party and we left them behind the last four years.

A large majority of these people are not ultra-moral, right-wing liberal haters. They are poor, trying to make it, believe strongly in values, are begging someone to reach out to them, and have been the worst hurt by Bush politics. The Republicans reached out and we did not, in fact we spent the entire campaign making fun of them and demeaning their beliefs and lifestyle.

Democrats can win the south again but we have to learn to frame our arguments in terms of our values. Democrats do in fact have stronger values than Republicans but they are better at getting their message out than we are. We also have to respect these people again and earn their trust back, we are the party of the poor and the regular people, so we MUST stop acting like a bunch of intelluctual elietist and start acting like we care about them again.

The polls showed all year long that people in the south were waiting for Democrats to come bring them their message and they never did. They left the door wide open for Kerry and Kerry ignored them and never bother to go tell them his plan for them.

I grew up in the south, with these people, they do not like surprises. While most of us may be able to see the logic in getting rid of a guy who we know is a failure in favor of giving an unknown a chance, southern people for the most part will never do that in a million years. They would rather know the guy they are voting for is either a failure, or going to be a success, they will not vote for an unknown.

I'll be the first Democrat to apologize to those people too. They gave us a message loud and clear the other night and I heard it.

bringer 11-04-2004 08:07 AM

the elect WAS rigged but not the way most of you think. they are just setting up hillary clinton for 08. if edwards was the frontrunner bush would be collecting cans about now.

Tom_PMs 11-04-2004 08:13 AM

Appears to be the church voting drives that won it for them. Now churches are non-profit (like NAACP) and they can't openly endorse a candidate or they are in violation of the law and their tax-exempt status can be pulled. However, that would never happen, whereas the NAACP is under investigation for saying "dont vote for the bad guys" on several occasions. Just an interesting side note.

Few minutes ago CNN reported that attrny. gen would submit his resignation "within a couple of weeks". But, does the exit poll showing that most bush voters considered "moral values" as a prime reason for their vote concern you in the adult business?

IN other words, are you less concerned if asscraft resigns? Or more concerned that the people cited morality in their vote, regardless of who is attrny. gen?

foxylady 11-04-2004 08:14 AM

he cheated once again :ak47:

jas1552 11-04-2004 08:19 AM

If you could take only the number of people who voted for Kerry and compare that to the number of porn page views from US IP addresses the numbers would be way far from lining up:glugglug
