To sit or to spin... that is the question
I'm curious for those of you that use rotation scripts for your sponsor banners, where and how you decide to use rotation and where to make one sticky...?
I ask, because I've spent two days building script arrays (that turned out AWESOME I must say) and have a few more to go... the first four for my TGP which, of course, is basically an all encompasing gathering of porn. It does not specialize in any one particular niche. Hence, heavy use of multiple rotation scripts. (and BIG ones too)
And I whipped up a few for some particular niches sitting behind AVS with only niche relevant sponsor rotations... do you ever stick one on permanent in certain places? Or do you use rotations everywhere?
I'm trying to find a downside to the rotator scripts before I spend the rest of my life making them, but so far I can't see any... they maximize ad space, keep everything continuously fresh, and can be trimmed and modified easily to fit exclusive niches.... not to mention I love the ease of plugging in a tiny little java link anywhere I want in about a nanosecond.
The only thing I've been sticking permanent is Erasercash. Any other examples of where would be a good place for a static spot?
Thanks,
Ol' Headless
