Good News: Only 4 more years!

As much as I hate it, the American people has voted to keep GW Bush for another 4 years. Sure it still is not official but the margin in Ohio is way to high to turn.

The majority vote went to Bush, the EC will turn in favour of him and the Senate majority has risen and as much as I hate Bush, this is democracy. The American people want him for another 4 years and we all (the world) has to deal with it.

At least its only 4 more years but unfortunately the additional damage that will be done in the period of time can be huge and will impact freedom as you know it. But as I mentioned above the majority of the Americans wanted it that way so you have to deal with what you voted for.

Great post and very true.

This is indeed the result of democracy, the only thing I am afraid of, is that many people who voted for Bush didn't really know what they voted for. Lots of the people I have seen on TV voted for Bush because they kept thinking "he is the only one who can protect us from more terrorism." which is of course bullshit. All other issues no matter how important they may be, were ignored by these voters.

fuck the majority, its only half of the country that wanted him in power. i think the fuckhead should choke on cheneys crooked cock.

i'm proud to be an american, but i'm ashamed of the non-educated other half of my country

Let's hope that's true. 4 years is plenty of time to do changes to law regarding only 2 terms.

Gee. 4 more years. but that's still way too long.

Bush BARLEY won in 2000 and BARLEY wn in 2004. Even if the law changes what make you think he'd win a 3rd term? For a "winning" incumbant he sure won weakly. Worst showing for a winning incumbant in history I believe.

yep

Maybe we'll have another war so we can all get rich off of our oil or at least have something to talk about.

Well if you want to get elected or re-elected it usually helps if you WIN.

I actually had the same fear but then I thought who he would have to run against as Bill Clinton could run again as well ;)

Hmmm.. but weren't the democrats here just saying recently that we should get rid of the 2 term limit so Clinton could run again?

Time to rethink that position? :)
