It appears to be an overwhelming win for President Bush

Even though it is not officially final...President Bush appears to have been elected President by winning in the overwhelming majority of the States and with a larger popular vote than Al Gore had and set a record by receiving the largest number of votes cast for a Presidential nominee in the history of the United States.

I predicted several months back that the President would win and provided the reason why he would defeat Senator Kerry. The bottom line reason is because Senator Kerry has a 20 year record in the Senate as being a staunch liberal...possibly even an ultra liberal...and Americans are basically moderate to conservative in their politics. A Democrat with better credentials ie...less liberal...may have won against President Bush.

Joe Citizen 11-03-2004 04:19 AM

He will be assassinated within a year.

Calling Kerry a radical liberal is insane. His standpoints are pretty close to those of Bush, and if anything, he's actually a right-leaning moderate.

It is more than apparent that you do not know the 20 year voting record of Senator Kerry and/or his expressed opinions and/or what constitutes being a liberal. You are dismissed.

I am fully aware of President Bush's "4 year track record"..."disasterous" is your adjective and apparently an adjective that the majority of Americans do not agree with...and they have input...you do not. The majority of Americans have made it abundantly clear that world opinion does not matter to them. They made this abundantly clear when they...against world opinion...overwhelmingly supported the invasion of Iraq and have now made it clear...yet again...by re-electing the President. Learn to live with it...as you do not have a choice but to do otherwise.

When you say 'the majority of Americans' what you really mean to say is the majority of American voters.

OK... I was trying to be subtle....

What the results show are that 50% of the voting electorate in the US are totally raving insane.

This is not my "opinion", but the opinion of 50% of the US electorate and almost the whole world who will act on this assumption.

They know a total fucking idiot when they see one - unlike you.

If you know of any other country that has, not once, but twice, elected a totally inept person into power - please say.

I was reluctant to use labels, but have nada problem now - You are really one of these charicatures of a REALLY DUMB US CITIZEN.

Then there is no factual basis for your claim.

Around 120 million Americans voted and less than 60 million voted for Bush.

That means only about 20% of Americans agree that Bush's four years as President weren't 'disasterous'.

Hardly a majority.

Rant and hate??? Me??? :-) Another pre-conceived and "learned behaviour" of a TOTALLY DUMB US CITIZEN.

It is very ironic that the "hate" is from you against almost every nation on this planet. It must be inbreeding or something, tho some call it the "American disease" - usually mixed with a healthy dose of big mouth and arrogance.

Contrary to your stupid assumptions, I have nada "hate" of anyone or any nation. You really should get help and learn how not to be a TOTALLY DUMB US CITIZEN.

Have you ever heard of polls? There have been polls that showed more that 70% of Americans supported the invasion of Iraq. There have been polls that have showed that the majority of Americans do not care what the rest of the world thinks about America. You made assumptions and conclusions that do not have any legitimate basis at all and if you are not totally dumb you are aware of that...where as I predicated my statements on what polls have shown. I was and still am talking about the majority of Americans. You are fucking dismissed.

There is a lesson and excellent demo material here.

What you are seeing is a serious infliction of the "US Citizen disease".

You notice the denegrating terms used for all and the claim to be right on all matters?

I can't think of any sane person who would consider themselves to be right to the level the subject illustrates.

This over-confidence, arrogance and ignorance is not granted to many, - that is, with the exception of brain dead "US Citizens" like the King.

Most are not inflicted and some to a lesser extent - but I'd be concerned about the costs to the US of this disease.

You do realize that polls are just tiny population samples and the vast majority of them are unscientific?

Irrespective of that, you specifically said that, "I am fully aware of President Bush's "4 year track record"..."disasterous" is your adjective and apparently an adjective that the majority of Americans do not agree with"

So asswipe, how about you show me which poll told you that?

This was my first post in about a month and so I will retire again...maybe until the mid term elections.

BTW...everyone here tonight going on and on about the President being re-elected but the President has little power compared to the Congress who holds the real seat of power and the Republicans picked up even more seats. It should have been the focus of concern if one were to be concerned as the President is basically powerless without the approval of both houses of the Congress.
