Thank God Bush Won

ok, if i was an american i'd be a democrat, but i have enough class to congratulate the winner and not bitch about it. You get a lot more out of looking forward them whinning about things you can't change.

bush didn't destroy porn in the last 4 years - lets hope it's more of the same.

to be honest i liked bush more in the last year of his term than the first 3....... still prefer kerry but i can deal with this.

And yet another criminal.

I don't see where the fear is. Bush has been in for four years and nothing has happened - and I don't see that changing. The White House, no matter who sits in the oval office, knows they can't win a legal battle against us because what we do is legal. They fought this battle already with Playboy, Hustler, and Penthouse back in the day.

I voted for Kerry this morning at 6AM - But what would have happened if he had won? Four more years of nothing to worry about against the great unknown.....

I'm not about to congratulate the winner because I think for the country overall it's a bad deal. But I'm not gonna be a sour puss about it.

Here's the problem though, Bush will be a lame duck president. As a lame duck president he has no need to plan at all for a re-election, so he can really play his true colors with near impunity. Also consider, that the house, the senate and the supreme court are all conservative, so Bush can pretty well get whatever he wants now.

Sleazy....this is why you will stay successful and continue to do well, positive and keep things moving forward, no matter what happens or who is elected, that is our same attitude over here.:thumbsup

I won't bitch about it, he earned it and I don't think he cheated. Plus there is nothing to do about it after the fact.

Its common fact that a president does more of his agenda in the 2nd term as he has nothing to lose, couple that with the fact that senate is now Republican and he has very little opposition to do whatever bullshit he so chooses to do.

Its going to be a rough rough road.

you know sleazydream, i would agree...i was just gonna post a new thread saying, ok he's back in, prolly, now let's get back to biz...let's make it FUCKING HARD for him, however we have to do it, to hurt this industry. I ain't happy about it, but maybe this is just what the bush-lickers wanted, for people to lay down and fucking die, i say let's start planning what we need to do to have our industry and our country survive this MAJOR setback.

Let's hope for the best. He will also have a majority in the House and Senate.

Let's start with the last thing you said. The reason you liked Bush more in the last year of his term than in the first 3 is because in the last year, he was working on his re-election. He needed to maintain a moderate image for that.

He's now in his second term, and he doesn't need to worry about re-election anymore. That gives him way more freedom than he had in his first term. Not only that, the republicans also strongly dominate the house and the senate, so Bush has an unusually strong position right now.

As for "congratulating the winner and not whining about it"... this isn't a fucking sports game, you idiot. Thousands of lives were in the hands of these elections, perhaps even hundreds of thousands. Regardless of the winner, I'd say that justifies a fair bit of discussion.

that's a scary, scary thought. If they passed the patriot act in the first term, get ready for some implantable microchips in the second term... :helpme :helpme :helpme
