foxnews.com still has it 266 for Bush vs 211 for Kerry so no one won yet , but of course the outcome at this point should be more than obvious ...

Already making my travel plans for the next 4 years...

Not over till the fat lady sings her tune!

Sadly it looks like game over for Kerry & Co. Too bad Europeans can't vote. :Graucho

John_Doe 11-02-2004 11:11 PM

If it goes 269 to 269 the final votes goes to the House of Representatives which is Republican so Bush wins either way.

CET 11-02-2004 11:12 PM

*sigh*

Kerry would have done so much better if his whole campaign wasn't simply mudslinging. If he had actually run a dignified campaign about himself and what he wants to do for America rather then appealing to the "anybody but Bush" crowd, I have little doubt that he would have won. What a fuckin waste. :2 cents:

This is going to sting for some of you, but the boob was right all along

He either wants to have lots of anal sex in federal prison or he wishes to go back working at Burger King.

I'm showing 249-211. CNN hasn't predicted Ohio yet because it is still too close.

I'd like to think he just threw a punch of sarcasm at the Bushies..

I'd be perplexed too otherwise

I agree. While most wanted Bush gone, Kerry never told us what any of his plans were. This is from Kerry's website:

"John Kerry and John Edwards have a plan to transform the world's most powerful military to better address the modern threats of terrorism and proliferation, while ensuring that we have enough properly trained and equipped troops to meet our enduring strategic and regional missions."

Um, just what is the plan?
