Kerry would have done so much better if his whole campaign wasn't simply mudslinging. If he had actually run a dignified campaign about himself and what he wants to do for America rather then appealing to the "anybody but Bush" crowd, I have little doubt that he would have won. I agree. While most wanted Bush gone, Kerry never told us what any of his plans were. This is from Kerry's website:
