Yet another virus/worm
 

i got this from several people:


Today, Snowhite was turning 18. The 7 Dwarfs always where very educated and
polite with Snowhite. When they go out work at mornign, they promissed a
*huge* surprise. Snowhite was anxious. Suddlently, the door open, and the Seven
Dwarfs enter...

That one is pretty old but today I received an interesting variation of the old....

"Hi! How are you? I send you this file in order to have your advice."

It claimed to be the code to kill the virus. It looked exactly the same and had an attachment but it had the extra text on top saying that all would be fine if you opened it. Needless to say I ignored it and deleted it.

Be careful out there!

this one is not really that new either,
it has been all over this board for a
while now and i think its called SirCam

That's the Sircam worm that almost everyone just got hit with only about 6 weeks ago...one of my email accounts still gets one here and there.

I've received hundreds of that virus but today was the first one that was different. Usually the subject is something like Andys resume or some shit like that.... but this one was different. I wish I hadn't deleted it but I did.

the thing all these worm virusses do is take a random file from the "my documents" folders of the infected person and send it off to all people in his addressbook and emailaddresses found in the temporary internet files, that's why we the webmaster get hit heavily each time a new worm is spread ;-) hint... don't put your emailaddress on your site http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/tongue.gif put it behind a script or in a form http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif
