Kerry will win Ohio because of Rock and Roll

Cuyahoga County (Cleveland) is going to be the difference.

While watching TV last night, they had Bruce Springsteen performing in Cleveland promoting Kerry as he was strumming on the guitar.

Now, I'm from Cleveland, so I know how that city thinks. That is a rock and roll city (Rock Hall of Fame and birth place of rock).

Bruce is the most blue collared rock and roll, good ol' American you'll ever find. He's G_D in Cleveland. Bruce is the difference, he's reached out to those undecided voters and convinced them to vote Kerry. If Bruce is the Boss, and the Boss says vote Kerry, they'll vote Kerry.

This has been a D$ political analysis exclusive to GFY.

cleveland is always the democratic base for Ohio, but traditionally gets off set by southern voters.

Alan Freed creating the term, Rock N Roll on a Cleveland radio station. Rock N Roll was born in Cleveland because it was coined there.

Memphis or Cleveland is a good argument. But I'm saying Rock N Roll's birth place is Cleveland. The "roots" of rock might originate in Memphis.

It isn't just about the term being coined there, though. A lot of the first major concerts were held in Cleveland, a lot of bands broke on Cleveland radio and a lot of American artists came from Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.

Ah, cool :) I lived on 22nd in Euclid, right down the street from the high school. Then I lived on 213th north of the Boulevard. In Parma, I lived on State Road.
