Im voting for BUSH! Dunno why you think he is such a threat??

he hasnt made a move on us in 4yrs, think he will now?

and just because he may be openly against adult sites, that doesnt mean kerry is pro-adult

dont see what the big deal is

aside from the obvious negative of any war, i like the fact that bush took us in. think back to just before we went to war, remember how much pressure he was under to go? Even i was saying i hope we go blow those fuckers up.

it may not have turned out how we had hoped, but atleast he didnt sit on his ass and let yet another country make us look like bleeding assholes.

although bush didnt do a great job, he certainly didnt do a bad job. kerry just seams like an all around fake.

and there is always the fact that with bush we know what we have. the grass always looks greener on the other side, but rarely is ....

i dont follow either party but im voting for bush. :321GFY

DONT WORRY, THIS IS ALL OKAY, WE HAVE TO SECURE IRAQ!

MrIzzz 11-02-2004 09:08 PM

besides the obvious threat he already poses to our biz

- he doesnt care about the environment, he wants to drill all of alaska

- he is trying to eliminate overtime across the nation

- he is sinking more money into a war which we dont need, and he can't find money to help education

- the world hates us because he is considered the figure head and representative of what an american is

- one of the supreme court justices is extremely ill and may die, which would cause a new appointment. and guess who picks the justices. so say goodbye to abortion with the reversal of roe v wade

the country made its own mess, bush is just taking the heat for it :2 cents:

any president in his position would have gone to war, he really didnt have a choice.

how would it have been had he said "ok we lost thousands of innocent lives, lets go on like nothing happened and leave that country alone"

1) iraq had nothing to do with the terrorist attacks here
2) if another president did go to war, they wouldve pulled all troops out once seeing that iraq posed no threat

keyboard warrior 11-02-2004 09:13 PM

Just look at your price at the pump?

bush spends billions on the war to raise gas prices and supports outsorcing jobs, and gives tax breaks on the rich, that is why you wont see any posts from the owner of this board!

my company has a few thousand emplyees, hundreds of which do ATLEAST 30+ hours of OT per week.

eliminating this would infact add several hundred jobs for my company alone, would it not??

sounds like a good move to me.

Holly 11-02-2004 09:14 PM

Rich, you live in New York. Like it or not, you've already voted for Kerry. :1orglaugh

xclusive 11-02-2004 09:16 PM

why do you think they're so innocent? it's not like they were forced to be in the army. they knew when they signed up that there could be a war at any time and they might risk their life. i dont understand you people...do you think the president should never use our military or something? you're gonna get all upset every time?

They're not trying to do away with overthime...they're trying to do away with paying for overtime. Those people would still be doing those extra 30 hours each week, just not getting time and a half for it.

Uhmmmmm... guess again.

He doesn't want to eliminate overtime work, just overtime pay. Which means those employees would be working the same number of hours they are now for far less money.

In fact it would then make sense for your company to get rid of more workers and force those remaining to work more overtime, that way they pay less in benefits overall.

Still sound like a good move?

yes, they sign up knowing they might have to go to war to protect their country..

but when will you brainwashed fools realize that there was no threat in iraq, the soldiers have no reason to be there and get killed

i dont care who wins, there is no way in hell that as an american, you will be FORCED to work overtime and not be paid for it.

granted i dont know the facts, but im pretty sure your only seeing one side of the story.

you REALLY think congress is going to allow a bill like that to be passed? And you guys call ME an idiot? LOL!!!!

wtf kind of retard would stand at a podium and say "im all for eliminating overtime pay and allowing our companies to force extended hours for no additional pay!"

think about the financial logic also. you said he is for tax cuts on the rich right? So why would he want the rich company owner to make more of a percentage of the companies profits? Why wouldnt he rather see 15,000 employees making way less, and being taxed at a higher rate?

KUNTA KINTE 11-02-2004 09:34 PM

No, of course not, they can't force anyone to work the overtime, they could give them the option of working overtime for no extra pay or be fired.
