Has it ever occurred to you...

Anti-virus companies depend on new and challenging viruses to keep them in business.

The company that consistently has a complete cure for most viruses first will make the most money.

The best way to make sure you're in this position is to produce the viruses yourself and have the fix ready when it's released...

How many anti-virus companies are manufacturing and releasing computer viruses?

Kind of like the mechanic who punches a hole in your radiator while he is chaning your oil? Nah, never happens.

It's a thought that crossed my mind, although having delt with less than pleasent people over the internet, I believe the majority of viruses are made by some kid sitting at home with no friends... I mean they could at least try to make a profit out of it. :Graucho
