Get off your butt and go vote! :)

No doubt about it, voter turn out will decide this
election and you can't make a difference if you don't
GET OUT AND VOTE!

To the GFY ladies, its a fact that 50% of us who
were eligible to vote in the last election decided to do
something else on that day.

Grab a book, grab some coffee....and go get in line!!!

Niko Bimini 11-02-2004 12:14 PM

Already did first thing this morning!

But thanks for the reminder! :winkwink:

BradM 11-02-2004 12:14 PM

As a Canadian I beg you to go vote.
It's not just the fate of your country at stake, it is the fate of the world.

Fuck Bush.

California is a democratic state so all of our electoral votes will go to Kerry.

Honez 11-02-2004 12:23 PM

I am reading over all the Proposition arguements one last time, then I am off make some history. They are expecting a 75% turnout here in Phoenix. I think I will take a lawn chair and a lunch :thumbsup

You'd a been better off staying your ass at home than going out wasting a vote on that Fuck. If he wins I hope you will be able to make payments on your new mobile home!:thumbsup

I love to hear this. It's easy to get lost in the Bush/Kerry
mess and lose sight of the other very important issues
at hand. How many people get to the polls with only
the presidential vote in mind? State level politics will
have a daily impact on your lives, as well.

Get informed and get in line! It's still early. :thumbsup

Doctor Dre 11-02-2004 12:35 PM

The lines are already long

As much as I love your passion, I would much rather
hear that someone voted for Bush than to not have
voted at all. Voter indifference got us in to this mess
in the first place.

Let's hope that we've learned our lesson.

:2 cents:

Laurel 11-02-2004 12:39 PM

I'm on my way to vote; hopefully the lines won't be too long. Too bad that I don't own a Blackberry, I think the lines are going to be horrific.

smack 11-02-2004 12:43 PM

I agree, go vote!!

Seems like it should be a "no brainer"...even
gets everyone a little time out of the office.

But I'm surprised how many people have the mentality
that "no one will notice" or "it's just such a hassle".

Tonight when the tallying begins, those on the
losing side who thought their single vote just
"wouldn't make a difference" will be wishing they had
spent their time a little more wisely today.

ATL_Ryan 11-02-2004 01:41 PM

Just got back from voting for Kerry. :thumbsup

it took me less than 5 minutes from the time I arrived to the time I left the polling location

Amputate Your Head 11-02-2004 04:31 PM

today is the day I sweep out the garage and take the trash out to the curb, so I didn't go.

maybe next time.

Honez 11-02-2004 05:37 PM

Hah. So I just spent an hour standing in line at the wrong polling place! Before you all go blaming the blonde hair on my head, I live in an area fillled with churches. They all are right on top of each other and they all have similar names. I just picked the wrong one. I wasn't the only one though. When I did get to the correct church, there were about 10 other people in front of me that had done the same thing. So 90 minutes later I am all done. My vote is in. Woohoo! :flagface
