best place to go w/ an invention idea?
 

Has anyone ever tried to patent a product or come up w/ an idea for a new product?

Where are the best places to go?

You're best off to just release it, get the entire world to use it for a good 7 - 10 years and THEN patent it and request money for all those years from everyone.

You're too late, the automatic fish feeder has already been patented :(

But who would you go to to help design the product, test it, and sample market it?

I am also interested in this. I had something in mind and I too was looking for somewhere to go.

okay, when i say this, its not some cheap ploy to advertise one of my sites.. but...

i went to aliensearch.net and typed in 'inventions' (there are no search results, it brings you directly to the best relevant site) and used whatever site came up, they sent me a free packet of info and a free DVD on how to get started, startup costs, etc.. i think it was "inventech" if you want to search google for it
