Bush Looks Scared

well, well, well............I am not imagining things.........I am starting to see very brief glimpses of fear, the fear of losing, coming across Bush's face.......his confidence and swagger is beginning to erode.......

could it be the son may perhaps be following in his father's footsteps and be a one-term president?

lets hope so............get out and vote!

twice

Bansheelinks 11-02-2004 05:33 AM

perhaps zogby is right.............Bush may be stuck at around 48% permanently.........if so, and I'll even give Bush a half a % point, the pop. vote would look like this:

Kerry: 50.0 %

Bush: 48.5%

Other 1.5%

not getting ahead of myself........I am only forecasting if Zogby's model of Bush peaking at 48% holds.........I am not saying it will hold but Zogby is very accurate considering the last 3 elections

I AM certain, however, that I am seeing fear and a sense of almost desperation coming over Bush the last few days; its showing in his facial expressions. Usually, this man is confident to the point of stupidity with his texas swagger and macho bullshit attitudes. I think their internal polling is showing, as I have seen thru other polls, movement towards Kerry's side late in the last election week.

We can only hope the jig is up for Bush.

I noticed that too.
They showed him at a polling station this morning and instead of his usual deer in the headlights look he had more of a deer in the rifle sights look. Maybe his handlers have told him "If you manage to squeak through this time you are the luckiest fuckwit alive"

NoCarrier 11-02-2004 08:40 AM

I'm pretty sure that he's confident. Who wouldn't be? He knows he's going to win anyway. :glugglug

I don't like Bush but I didn't like him when I was in Texas and he was Govenor.

Never mind, for as long as whoever wins the battle will sereve the country right.

Gore won the pop vote ... unfortunately that doesn't mean anything.

By a 1.5% margin, it means a helluva lot. Some other elections in the past were won by that slim of a margin in % of vote, but the electoral votes were a blow out victory:

1968 election:

Richard Milhous
NIXON Pop. Vote: 31,710,470 (43.4%)

Electoral Votes: 301

************************

Hubert Horatio Pop. Vote: 30,898,055 (42.3%)
HUMPHREY Electoral Votes: 191

Bansheelinks 11-02-2004 03:21 PM

Bansheelinks 11-02-2004 04:49 PM

those exit polls.......maybe there is a reason he's been looking scared the last few days........is there a Kerry wave coming?

xclusive 11-02-2004 04:51 PM

Bush is too dumb to be scared maybe that's just the look of constipation...

probably both :1orglaugh

But I am not imagining things; I saw a different look on his face at key moments the last 2 days of the campaign than I saw before, a mix of fear and somewhat desperation.
