Interesting Melee with PeopleSoft and Oracle.

Oracle put the Buyout to 24.00 Per Share and People Soft looks like they are still holding out on the offer, though Oracle put in 26.00 Per Share before and PeopleSoft terminated A CEO for being a dick during the Buyout Process.

Easy Money on this one.

Shares are $21 at People Soft right now.
As long as they do not settle for less than the current Stock value...

Bling bling. Its a no brainer.

shares at peoplesoft are 22.93 now... up 10% today.

Also the Antitrust Issue has been taken care of in Both the USA and Europe solidifying Oracles Bid to PeopleSoft.

So the road is clear. I doubt anything will actually happen till December, but I do think 26 Per Share will be Oracles final offer.

Oh...

Oracle Also can destroy PeopleSoft if the Buy Out does not happen since Oracle is in the position to do so strategically.

PeopleSoft's Exec's arent stupid they are just holding out but I am very sure they will come to the table last minute.

I wouldn't say it's a no brainer, this deal has been going back and forth for years, something could still go wrong. Definitely an opportunity. :2 cents:

Make sure you put a 'stop' on it. It won't cost you anything and you'll have a some insurance. :2 cents:
