If Bush weren't against adult, would you still be voting Kerry?

Well?

bangman 11-01-2004 03:17 AM

As it stands, i'm not voting for Kerry. I'm voting against Bush.
I would vote against Bush regardless of his stance.

I think a lot of Bush voters are now more voting "against Kerry" than for Bush.
But they usually won't admit it.

:2 cents:

Yeah, that was me. I didn't choose the "Fuck Adult" wording. I'm just saying I am voting for Bush. Not that it really matters though. Bush will win my state with or with out my vote.

erehwon 11-01-2004 04:05 AM

Honestly, I am a Republican leaning Libertarian, but honestly this Republican party isn't the one I voted for in 2000. Since the Neo-Cons took over, its a night and day difference in Washington.

I know that Kerry is going to raise taxes and do his best to take my guns away, I can't see Bush around for another four years driving this once great country further into the ground, as it stands now, Bush has a four year running start. :(

Hinc 11-01-2004 04:12 AM

Yep, Iīd vote Kerry anyway.

Bush has created the biggest deficit in history, lost jobs, made the US unpopular around the world - Europe especially, heīs a religious fanatic etc etc etc

So...that alone would make it a vote against anyone having a chance of removing the man from office.

On top of that, John Kerry seems to have some pretty good ideas for economy, jobs, putting US back in a positive lead in the world etc....and thatīd make him a nice candidate to vote for.

Theo 11-01-2004 04:14 AM

a small correction, he is a pseudo-religious fanatic

bizmak 11-01-2004 04:23 AM

I really think that people vote against Bush.. hope he will lose, his administration doing some shitty stuff and he's gotta fall.

basschick 11-01-2004 06:35 AM

yes.

i didn't decide to vote for kerry because of the current admin's stance on adult. there are even bigger things than our business our there...

Probono 11-01-2004 07:01 AM

In the beginning I wold have voted for MICKEY MOUSE if he was running against Bush. The more I listen to Kerry the more I believed that I should vote for him.

He will inherit such a mess form Bush it will take his entire term to clean it up. Hopefully in that time the the Republicans can toss the neoconservatives and religious right and become conservatives again.

mardigras 11-01-2004 07:26 AM

The Bush administration's stance on obscenity is one of the the least reasons I'm voting against him.

tony286 11-01-2004 07:29 AM

STill vote for Kerry , too many lies from this President.

MandyBlake 11-01-2004 09:04 AM

OH hell yes I'd still be voting for Kerry.

xclusive 11-01-2004 09:05 AM

Bush has done nothing in his life but fail...I am sick of america being seen as bad because of a dick like Bush...

benc 11-01-2004 09:15 AM

The main positive of Kerry is the selection of supreme court candidate. Beyond that, I personally don't like anything about the guy.

Everything is all such spin from both sides. Like the lost jobs thing. Well why did that happen. The dot com economy collapsed and a lot of jobs went away. 911 happend and that hurt things. And mass outsourcing is somewhat recent thing as companies take advantage of the global economy and look to cut costs.

Just as the Republicans have been invaded by neo-conservatives and the religous, Democrats have been invaded by nutjobs, deadbeats, and politicians that are so far to the left that what they want for this country concerns me. If I wanted to live in Europe, I'd move there.

I think starting now, there needs to be a big support movement for a 3rd party. So that in 4 years, it has at least a chance of a pretty solid chunk of votes. I think in 4 years, with a lot of effort, a 3rd party candidate could get double the votes Perot got.

I agree with you, but FYI BUSH has made it even more profitable for companies to outsource / move overseas. Kerry will close that loop hole.

Are you stupid?

Kerry doesn't want to take your guns away. Are you a criminal or a terrorist? If not, then you have ZILCH to worry about.

At any rate let's assume your premise is correct. The PRESIDENT doesn't amke the laws the CONGRESS does. In order for Kerry to take your guns away congress would have to pass such a law. Now is a REPUBLCIAN controlled House and Senate going to do this? Um no. even if they did it would be struck down by the republican controlled Supreme Court.

Anyone who believes the old "So and so is going to take away your guns" BS is an idiot who should have all voting rights revoked. I heard Elvis is still alive too. Do you believe that?

By the way the 2nd Admendment say you have a right to bear ARMS not guns ARMS. Guns are arms, but so is a tank or a nuclear warhead. Can you own one of those? Nope. So the constitution also says the government also has the right to dictate WHICH arms you can own. If I'm wrong then someone better sue the government because I want my fully operational tank.
