Lets Clear Something Up About Bin Laden

I think we give to much benefit to the military. While Osama is running around making travel videos, why do we want to believe that hes scared of us? Much less having a bad life running and not in a luxury suit somewhere??

remember he has alot of money, friends and over there - it is HIS turf - NOT ours!!

It is probably safe to assume hes got a room booked at a Hilton somewhere that he just pays a yearly fee under a different name and uses it when he passes through town. Dont for a second think hes sitting in a cave somewhere like a squirrel shaking that he is going to get caught by the scary military genius of GWBush - keep in mind those around him are as loyal to him as anyone of Bush's legion... even more.

The video BTW didnt support either candidate, and I am amazed at how some of the americans viewed it - he clearly said, that no matter who gets in.. its americans POLICIES that need to change. Bin Laden couldnt care less whos after him - and can hide anywhere in luxury. And face it - with bush as leader, why the hell would he be scared ??

I disagree. I think they could get him any time they want but they don't for two reasons. 1. Hes a cia asset, and as long as hes out there people are afraid. 2. Hes in spot that they can't go in and get him without causing problems for an ally. ie the uneasy alliance with Pakistan.

I agree totally

that is another option, I am only bringing to peoples attention that judging by the video, people seem suprised hes looking so good and dressed well, certainly not buried in a cave.

It maybe true that USA cant reach him in Pakistan, yet from experience, doesnt Bush normally just walk in despite foreign policy and take what he wants?

Sadly, your point on being an asset to the CIA looks more likely the situation. Driving military budgets close to 225Billion its a cash cow for anyone linked to the contracts... and spreading the idea that without us - the evil man is going to come again and hurt you

thanks benc excellent points...

crockett 10-31-2004 11:03 PM

Man I tell you what I want to slap the morons in our govt every time they claim he's hiding in some cave in Afghanistan.

He's a terrorist, he can't live without violence. If he was scared, why would he redraw attention to himself by making a video? He'd just make himself as invisible as possible, especially since Bush said that Bin Laden isn't a priority and he doesn't care about his whereabouts.

amazing how that focus has changed since 9/11 isnt it ?? Wonder how the familys feel hearing that those who died in the attack, that their murderer doesnt matter anymore to the country.

Good point but useless to a Bush supporter. Im gonna go out on a limb and say there arent any Bush supporters here that had family that died on 9/11 but even if you did they still wouldnt care that Bush doesnt give a shit about Osama, thats just the mentality of a Bush supporter, close minded and blind to obvious facts.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 11-01-2004 01:21 AM

Yeah I wonder what them families thought when Bush went on saying

"I am not concerned about em, I dunno where he is"

What an ass.

As long as bin Laden is at large, it is clear that Bush failed the America people.

The man behind the worst horror in history, on American soil has not been brought to justice.

Paul Markham 11-01-2004 05:25 AM

What is amazing is how well he looked. Bin Laden is meant to need a dialasis machine to keep him alive, unless that was a lie.

So how does the most wanted and hated man in the Western world allude the eyes and ears of the most powerful nation in the world?

The US has a massive reward on his head, countless of agents in the area and spy sattelites. They also HAD, and I do not know if they still have, specail ops teams whose job it was to seek and kill or capture specific people behind the lines in both Afghainistan and Iraq.

Pakistan leaders would not shield him, they would sell his arse as quick as they could. They have already sided with the US against the wishes of many of their people.

Maybe Bin Laden is more use alive and on the loose, than captured and imprison or dead.

I think he wants Bush to win, Bush is hated by the people who support him and his cause. Bush's popularity goes up with the war on terror, Bin Laden releases a tape a week before the election. Does it take a rocket scientist to put two and two together?

Doctor Dre 11-01-2004 05:35 AM

He said that it wasn't gonna change . But he also said that bush was a dumbfuck

Be careful you don't say that in public. I could be standing somewhere close by and hear it.

And wouldn't your day just be fucked if I did?

Juicy--

Would you please come out and bitch-slap some sense into these inbreds?

Fake Nick 11-01-2004 06:51 AM

STFU idiot

if any country would help him as openly as you want to make it belive is the case , they would be under attack

jayeff 11-01-2004 07:10 AM

You have to admit there is a certain irony that our excuse for invading the country in which - I'm sure entirely by coincidence - we wanted to start a pipeline, was that if the Taliban weren't actually supporting Bin Laden, they were failing to bring him to justice.

Here we are, nearly 3 years later and all we have to show for our efforts is a bunch of dead Afghanis, some dead Americans, and several billion dollars of taxpayers money down the toilet. Oh... and the heroin trade out of Afghanistan is booming again.

that may be true - I did find it facinating that he looked better and (if I can say) presidential. It was a slap against Bush reminded the people just why this whole war started in the first place.

Of course Bin Laden wants Bush to win - he is seen as the coyote to Bin Ladens Road Runner, except now - Bush is either tired of catching him or simply finds it more profitable to his team to invade Iraq. Either way, Im sort of glad he showed up to remind everyone that the author of 9/11 is doing well and fine thanks to Bush.

America has helped Bin Laden simply by ignoring him

And by incompetence politics:
- invading the wrong country
- handing an entire country over to Al-Qaeda
- torturing moslims in prisons all over the world
- let 377 tons of explosives disappear
- ignore intelligence report that Bin Laden is determined to attack inside the US with hijacked planes
- Let the Bin Laden family and other Saudi elite that are possible Al-Qaeda financers escape only days after 9/11
- Not having a post-war plan for Iraq
- Choosing criminals to work with (Chalabi)
- Loosing the faith of all Iraqi's that will be more likely to turn to islam fundamentalism
- Let the world see how corrupt american politics allow US corporations linked to politiciens sell out Iraq
- Killing over 100,000 civilians
etc
etc
etc

reynold 11-02-2004 11:10 AM

To clear things. Bin Laden is threat that has to be deal with second he is an ass.

SpikeHeel 11-02-2004 04:29 PM

So now I know. I will tell it to my friends to have a better understanding on him. Nice!

Rochard 11-02-2004 04:46 PM

Al-Qaeda is indeed on the run. I'm not sure if he's living out of caves or not, but he's surely not crashing at the Hilton. Before 9/11 Al-Qaeda used to have offices in office buildings. Not any fucking more. I'm rather sure that when we do find him we'll find him in living in a hole just like Saddam.
