Who else is passing out candy right now?

We are.. me and Dixon here. Shes in own for a shoot so we took the night off and we are passing out candy.

I bought like 20 bags and we are about to run out already. haha

Ahh the good old days. I wish i could trick or treat! Maybe Dixon will "treat" me later? hehe

Ouch! I just got kicked!

But really some of these kids costumes are awesome! Nice way to meet all the new neighbors also! Of course... they are explecting handfuls of candy from here.. .. having the biggest house on the block by 800 sq ft. makes kids expect a bit extra I guess

:thumbsup

LOL Yeah.... thought about that, but even with the rich bastard kids in my neighborhood... some kid would grab the whole damn bowl.

I dressed up for it, but nobody is buzzing - oh well. I've never had trick or treaters at this house, people don't take the effort to come up the drive way

studio 10-31-2004 04:28 PM

Only had 1 kid here so far... Not like it was when I was a kid...

KRL 10-31-2004 04:30 PM

Not a single kid yet. I live in a pocket of Chinese surrounded by
gays.

I've never had more than 5 kids in any year I lived here.

True enough. I just moved to this neighborhood in Feb. ITs an upper, white collar neighborhood with tons of families with kids. Im getting pounded with kids. I bet I have had 150 already in an hour.

When I was a kid, we would have 300 plus kids every year.

When you think about it, not only is is a fricking weird tradition from the perspective of home owners who have to open their door repeatedly to strangers in mask, but its also extremely dangerous to go and let your little kids knock on the doors of total strangers and then accept food and candy from them.

megatgpdotnet 10-31-2004 04:37 PM

Well...... we have something similar here on Easter ;)

media 10-31-2004 04:41 PM

I avoid passing out candy at all costs...

It really is, but you really never hear of any issues coming out of it. "Problems" were much more of an issue back in the late 60's or early 70's.

I dont think thats the case. Also, not one kid is coming to my door without a parent. Thats awesome and it was not the case when I was young.

sexygir1 10-31-2004 05:00 PM

Some of you people just suck! Get some fuckin candy and pass it out! If you dont I hope your house get's egged!

Bansheelinks 10-31-2004 05:21 PM

It hasn't been too bad around here; one kid came to the door dressed like a "Lord Of the Rings" character, sword and all. I opened the door and he damn near stuck me with it, demanding candy! But it was in good fun.

PerfectionGirls 10-31-2004 05:41 PM

OK we are done and out of Candy!

I bet we have 250 kids at least!

So.... "Dixon.. trick or treat?"

WickedVenus 10-31-2004 05:45 PM

I am we gave out to 5 kids so far! i think the Vote Kerry spray painted in our webs outside is turning the Bush supportors away from letting their kids get candy from us. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh
