i am thinking it might not convert well on tgp traffic becasue you say its free and then there is the $40 price mention on the join page, tgp surfers are smarter then that

Half of the time, the first spots on big tgp's are from fucktards who think they are big time in the biz because they can afford to pay for those spots. But in reality they do not have a clue...

I put links all over my link list which gets a lot of SE traffic. No TGP traffic and the ALL links are listed under Pay Sites on my site so it's not like surfers had no idea where they were going.

bigdog - almost EVERY free sign up mentions a price tag - you have to disclose your auto renewing $40 price tag (or whatever the monthly price may be). The good news about EMX is a.) there are ZERO x sells and b.) they don't get billed until they download and watch a movie. Its not an auto renewing trial they have to cancel. :)

I always wondered why sites who want the surfers money say FREE all over the place, to hit him during or immediately after the join process with an ugly page claiming money. Is this really working so much better than gaining trust by letting the new member feel that it was worth joining and to involve some coins then?

And I'm almost certain those are VIEWS of your 404 page, not clicks sent out. That number means virtually nothing! We show impressions of galleries / splash forms if that is what you use to promote.

This system is very simple and VERY straight forward. For the FREE account a customer gets 5 sample clips and 15 screen shots per movie and it sets up an account for them to FURTHER use the service. Its much like a cam sign up. You are setting up your account to SPEND money. Once you decide to download and view the movie, you activate your subscription. The consumer decides whether or not to spend their money, not some time trial countdown, so there is no need to cancel your free account set up.

Webmasters are compensated $28 (CONSOLE FREE) per account that they send (or free sign up). The overall system is showing great conversion ratios and we've got a lot of happy people sending traffic.

Finally, an attempt is the form that is filled out on every gallery page, splash form, or join page of EMX or one of the sites. Because the form is filled out so often and because it is on so many pages (again EVERY gallery view) the current ratio is 1:50 sales to attempts (remember and attempt is NOT the completion of the credit card form, but the smaller form that gets you to that page).

Ramster - hit me on ICQ 46972932 I'm wondering how you were sending traffic (gallery, splash form, or site). Earlier in the program there was some confusion as to how to send traffic to the product, which we have ironed out. There are a TON of sites in over 20 niches to send to and that is probably the best way to send.

Don't get me wrong Marc, not bashing EMX at all, just showing my numbers..

as I said, most of it is 404 traffic, and bad quality..
still waiting for the US to wake up I guess, I'm expecting some sales from SD and WS!!

Hey Nylz - no worries, I'm not snapping back at anyone, I just want EMX to have a fair view and don't want some numbers to misrepresent what it can do. I'd prefer to motivate everyone to trying it themselves, rather than waiting for x number of people to hip hollah and horray about it (which we do have many webmasters who are very happy).
