Snow from BP4L has http://www.mafiabucks.com and he is the original. Now Im sick of these vega guys sticking their nose in other peoples business so that's why Im sticking my nose in theirs. So now they have http://www.mobbucks.com which copies the gangster/mafia motive of the original mafiabucks. What do you have to say about this? Also fuck all of you vega guys.

Hey, I take responsibility for this one. I came on to work here full time a couple weeks ago and the first point of business was formulating a webmaster program design and concept. I wasn't even aware of Mafia Bucks having done such a theme etc... The whole idea for Mob Bucks actually sprang from a joke because of me goofing with the guys about their NY accents and how they sound like mobsters. So a joke turned into a "what the fuck" turned into a design idea my guy made and next thing you know it's born. There was no intention there of ripping anyone off not any awareness that the idea had been done.

These days there are 10 variations on the pimp theme and all that genre so we wanted to be different. My aplogies if it's rubbed you the wrong way. It's all tongue in cheek.

It's not uncommon for people to use differant variations of other existing programs..for example spunkbucks...spunkcash etc etc

Oh yeah it definitely happens. I'm just saying that I didn't even realize we were doing that... I thought it was an undone idea. Shoulda known better considering every idea has been done... twice... =]

We just had it installed. If you go to the site you'll see we're not live yet anyway. We have a ton of ducks to get in a row first and then just a beta period. I wouldn't open a program until I've had a chance to test the sites pretty vigorously... There's no use in going live with sites that don't convert or retain.

Thanks and true that. As I said before, I can't speak to what the guys were doing before I got here but I took on the opportunity here because it's a tremendous one. The company trades publically and the resources are such that I can do things that I wouldn't have even considered before. It's really pretty exciting for me personally and hopefully I'll be able to put my stamp on the adult products in such a way as they are great resources for everyone who uses them. Time will tell..

i dont see the problem here. theres a dozen "twist-" sites, "pimp-" sites, "adult-" sites, etc...mark is an established man in this biz, and the vegas are decent folk, so i don't see why there is an issue here

That's cool. Honestly I didn't even realize. We were just kidding about the idea and it grew out of control 'til we had the whole site done. I've never intentionally ripped anyone's ideas but after having done literally over 2500 sites since I started it's bound to happen. I can't tell ya' how many times my own stuff has been copied too. Even had someone completely cpy our old Covergals design and put her own name on it and just change the buttons. That, of course, was no accident. =[

Anyway, I say we do the only thing that can be done here... we meet at a toll booth and have a good ol shootout. :Graucho Heck maybe we should stage a gang war in Vegas. Could get us all some good laughs... a bunch of computer porn geeks acting like tough guys. Of course now that I said that, you'll turn out to be more scary than Hannibal Lechter (sp?).

Good grief, not another "bucks" program. The vast majority of the adult industry seriously lacks a clue when it comes to branding.
