Have any of you sold your blood ?
 

I heard they pay quite good if you give your blood to victims of car acidents etc.

Maybe I can earn a few hundred $$$ with it per month?

Apparently I can sell my plasma for $300/month at a place around the corner from me... seems odd.

Doesn't it hurt for plasma? Because they take your blood filter out the plasma then give whatevers left back into your system...I could be wrong though.

I went in to donate blood once and the nurse forced me (with her mouth) to donate a different type of body fluid.

The "summer slow down" wasn't bad enough to make me have to sell my blood.

We give in these parts.

I sell my plasma. It makes me $160 a month. Enough for some beer.
they draw blood, seperate the plasma and put the red bloodcells back in with a ringer's solution. When its over they have about 30oz of this pus looking stuff in a clear container. kinda gross looking, but whatever Im getitng paid.

In Quebec we give blood. Saving life is better then a paycheck :2 cents:

I sold Plasma once in College and ended up passing out on the bathroom floor and waking up to a nurse shoving an ammonia stick up my nose.

Nobody will take my blood now... I don't weigh enough using their stupid height/weight chart, even though my Doctor says my weight is fine to donate and a healthy weight based on my bone size vs. height.

I went to GIVE blood a month ago. Had to leave without given anything. My fucking veins were too skinny :(

My ex-wife has one of those very rare blood types and she used to donate her blood about once every 6 months.

My veins roll. No blood giving for me. I am a sperm donor though.

I have common blood and donate. My dad with rare blood donates also. :)

I guess that depends on a couple things:

1) How big is the paycheck?

2) Which life did you save?

I went to Red Cross and donated blood and it was an ok situation so I signed up to give plasma...

Nightmare.

I went in and was sat in the chair... they put a needle in my right arm (fine at this point) and then put one in my other arm. After a few minutes I started to sweat really bad and felt light-headed... so they took the needle out and then asked if I wanted to try again, and i said yes... So they give me another shot to numb my arm and then stick the return needle back into my arm. Once again everything is fine and then I start sweating again... and my arm swells up and is feeling really tense...

Eventually they remove all of the needles after pumping the blood back into my right arm, where it was removed.

Eventually they told me that they missed my vein on the return needle and hit a wall? Whatever the hell that means... so basically my blood was going back into my arm, but not into the vein. My arm bruised really badly and was sore for 2-3 weeks...

They called me for months straight asking me to come back in...lol.. I told them no way.

Unfortunately, I cannot give blood since I am taking prescibed blood pressure pills.

I donated my plasma one time long ago! Fuck that is worse then giving blood, they have to take your blood out then they run it through a machine and give you your blood back. Shit is cold when they inject it back in so you can feel it running through your viens! After all that I got a ding-dong, OJ and $25! Never did it again.:(

Ok to sell blood that is infested with Vicodin and beer?

Ok, I see every webmaster gives blood for free, but I still would like to make some $$$ with it :thumbsup
