Reasons Why FTP Would Stop Half Way Through An Upload?

Anyone got any suggestions?

Its definately not our connection btw, the Nat Net server uploads work fine :)

Basically, we have a few thousand directorys of content we're in the process of uploading to a server yet the FTP transfer seems to stop every 10-15 minutes half way through a set :(

Regards,

Lee

I use WS_FTPLE 95 for all FTP stuff and have never had connection problems. I've uploaded 200 gigs of content in one setting without a single burp.

There is no need to overkill your FTP client, unless you are utterly stupid and just like to see pretty colors and icons.

We're using Cute FTP right now going to try that product you mentioned to see if that resolves the problem thanks :)

It is a free program, just select "for educational purposes" in the setup :)

Yes I get that with WS_FTP PRO. I have to do smaller batches of files instead of trying to do them all at once.
