Fucking canada customs...
 

I ordered a $2000 bulk pack of content the other day, and it was supposed to arrive yesterday... Turns out it was delayed by customs. Probably because it's 23 burned dvd's...

Today a FedEx person called to let me know that customs has removed the package from the station and she doesnt know whether or not i'll be able to get it.

Is there any laws regarding importing porn to canada? What a pain in the ass...

if it was a gift.. there shouldnt be... give them shit.. and they will deliver it..

I've never had a problem, but I never did receive the Paris Hilton video I won on the Darren Austin show.

Just contact the provider, they'll surely redeliver it.

Not sure about Canada but here in the states it is a bad thing just to ship it acrosss state lines. I assume that across international borders might be even worse. by the way I am not an attorney, i only play one on TV:) Good luck

Thinking about it, I used to ship it from Canada TO the States all the time and never had a problem. I can't imagine it's easier to ship TO the States than to Canada.

We only put the value at $1.00 though, because it was all data.

I guess the value of 23 dvd'r's would probably around $50

They're watching this stuff going between countries a lot more closely now to identify producers, distributors, and marketers of pornography.

First of all, it is against FedEx policy to transport porn... Ok, I know, they transport tons of it, but when you sign the manifest, it clearly states that.

For Canada, anal ( pics or text ) is considered obscene.
If you should receive a Canada Custom form ( K-27) stating that it is prohibited. No point in appealing, just let the crown destroy it.

I remember a few years ago, we imported a couple of hundred video tapes for digitizing purposes and EVERY single tape had been watched.

They let us know they were doing it, so we weren't worried...but the fuckers didn't rewind a single tape. :feels-hot

It's nothing too hardcore... dont even know if there's anal. But 23 dvd's of images and videos is quite a bit, hopefully it doesnt take them too long to clear it (if they do at all).

At least all of the model releases and ID's are on the last DVD.

Video stores are full of anal, double anal, and so on. Community standards are not exceeded with that type of stuff, but Custom laws didn't evoluate ...

I got many parcel seized ( 100 % seizure when arriving by mail ), and was charged twice with the illegal possession with intent to distribute ... Won on appeal after 25 K of legal mombojumbo ....

Just got a call back from Fed-Ex.. he said customs has taken the package to review it which might take up to a week. I got the number for customs and a K-24 number, whatever that is.

I'll probably give them a call in a bit and find out what the hold up is.

But don't loose sleep over that. The worst scenario is that they destroy all the dvd's. No charges, no fines, etc... unless they were not declared....

ya, i have to agree, 23CDs of content for a declared value of 50.00..... no wonder they pulled it out to have a detailed look..

100 gigs would be one hell of an FTP download :) I dont think the content matches any of those check boxes, so that's probably a good thing.

here is the deal....Stevo may be asked to provide a credit card or a canceled check receipt for the content, i dont think it would say 50.00... more like the 2K he said above...

They were just jpg's and videos burned onto data DVD's im pretty sure... it was the focus adult blowout pack.

$600 in customs charges would suck, but it'd be better than sitting around waiting.

i really am beginning not to like canadian customs they are so tuff moreso then even US seems to me .

Canada customs are evil. They believe that they are somehow above the law.

Do a google on Little Sisters Bookstore.

They confiscate material (ex. vaginal fisting, solo pissing) that is widely available in video stores.

Don't give them any reason to mark you. Inquire, but in no way complain.

Get a new shipping address.
