Lies, lies, and more lies: Less than one week to go!

With less than a week to go it's become impossible to believe anything said in the press. The past week there has been a lot discussion about how the White House was warned about over 300 tons of explosives that are now believe to be looted.

Yet today this comes out:

"ABC News, citing IAEA inspection documents, reported Wednesday that the Iraqis had declared 141 tons of RDX explosives at Al-Qaqaa in July 2002, but that the site held only three tons when it was checked in January 2003. The network said that could suggest that 138 tons were removed from the facility long before the March 2003 invasion. "

So this site was checked shortly before the US invaded Iraq and had three tons of explosives - not three hundred.

Think someone leaked this to make someone look bad shortly before election day?

Got to love the US. Can't believe anything the press says at this point.

Bush is probably leaking fake info again to try to avoid taking the blame for another fuck up. Bush refuses to take the blame for anything. If he was a kid his parents would be spanking his ass by now.

There is supposedly a video proving that the explosives were there even though Bush's people tried to claim they weren't. Video or Bush press release, which one do you believe?

Another day, another Bush lie.

Vote for Bush and prove to the world and to 50% of america how many rednecks there are.

I hope people that vote for Bush people feel really sorry when there is another terrorist attack.

Neither Kerry nor Bush have the power to stop one, but the economy might aswell keep growing until it happens.

Dagwolf 10-29-2004 02:07 AM

It's not a matter of preventing terrorist attacs so much as not provoking them.

Interfering with other nations' internal and international issues is what led to this whole mess.

While the Republican party is not responsible for the terrorists' attacks ( the terrorists are), I feel like U.S. foreign policy under Republican administrations is responsible in large part for the hostility which bred the terrorists.

'the news' is just another tv show these days. or propoganda based on the networks politics.

Nowadays you can't trust anything what is writing in news, cause you can pay to them what to write. ( Of course with a lot of money)

Doctor Dre 10-29-2004 05:58 AM

not sure what your definition of "redneck" is but here in America, successful businessmen all vote for Bush.

that's one thing for sure...

don't ever think that the present situation in Iraq and the US participation will be put down to rest once Bush remains at his position. he just aggrevated the situation in the East and for sure, lots of affected civilians will come to their senses and make their move to retaliate.

You never have been able to believe the press.

It is not about the truth being told to the public. It is about what sells.

Tala 10-29-2004 10:44 AM

At this rate, I'm just going to be glad when all of this election business is over. It's nothing but a crock at this point anyway. Neither one of them are fit to clean my toilet, much less be President.
