I have a couple of really good advisors from the industry I always bounce ideas off of.

I have many mentors.. I am also a mentor for others.. People helping people is how this industry has grown so crazy...

I learned a lot from Rick (Webfather) about the domain biz over the past 2 years.

In my 20's I worked a couple years in investments, and the CEO took me under his wing and taught me how to be a power closer and negotiate business deals.

Unfortunately, I can't say I have a mentor.. The people I look up to are people I have never met.

I can't remember who said this on tv.. but they said that you should never meet your idol because you will be let down.

Has your mentor ever given you what you deemed to be bad advice? How much weight to you give to his/her word and what if they told you to make a decision and it led to failure.
