The number of fraudulent emails is out of control
I'm reffering to all these fake citibank, suntrust etc emails.... We are talking about many millions of emails sent and I've never seen any kind of action taken by any authority yet.
Is it that hard to trace them or the authorities have more important things to do? The next thing we'll see is these scammers buying advertisements in order to phish personal data of surfers. |
I've gotten the Citibank one a couple of times... I go to their website and notify them immediately.
I used to be a customer, they were a pretty good bank. |
slashdot ran an article a few weeks ago that said that 1/3 of the people that receive these emails believe in them
|
if it's 1 out of 3 it's a tragedy.....
a warning, some of the paypal, amazon, ebay scam mails appear to be offers/discounts as an attempt to grab your password when you login. |

Do you realize how many people are loosing thier life savings because of things like this. Porn or viagra spam is only trying to sell something. Not steal it. Fuck that was a stupid thing to say. If your father buys viagra from an e-mail who cares. But uf he gets ripped off you are gonna be pissed. And dont worry guys. Bush knows that it is the vile porn webmasters that are doing this, and that we must be stopped. |
I hate Citibank- they outsourced all their customer service to india :feels-hot
