We've generated hunderds, actually probably thousands of sign-ups through usenet. For content sites this is a must IMHO. If you will pay a webmaster $35 a join then it's worth your time to post some content to usenet.

When you sign in as a user you will see a post to Usenet link at the bottom of every group page. For example, if you want to post to alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.redheads, you would go to any thumbnail page in that group and post using the "Post a Binary to this Group" link at the bottom.

The link is small but will be a real button after we do our redisign. Please let me know if you have any questions.
