Am I the only one that won't be suprised when Kerry wins by a mile?

Even though most people I talk to hate Bush they still think he's going to win. I'm going to be highly suprised if Kerry loses, not the other way around.

Is everyone trusting Fox news to decide who's going to win or what?

Bush is going to win no matter how biased we want to be. Fact is fact, he will win.

xclusive 10-28-2004 01:02 PM

Of course Bush will win it's rigged...

Whoever wins it will be by a land slide.

This will not be nearly as close as the talking heads think it will be.

Yes, but I predicted a Kerry win before the debates even.

http://www.gfyboard.com/showthread.p...postid=5371948

And I've said on here many times that I think he will win by a comfortable margin at least.

John Kerry makes baby Bush cry.

Kelvin 10-28-2004 01:05 PM

I agree with you, I personally think that Kerry will win by bigger margins than people are thinking.

20% of people under the age of 29 use only cell phones these days. These people are typically urban, college types. As everyone knows, these people tend to lean more heavily towards the democrat side.

None of these people are being polled.

Plus, with many areas dems out registering republicans 4 to 1 these new registrations are also not being polled right now.

I think you are going to see an influx of these people at the polls that no one could predict.

Bookmark the thread and you can call me an idiot in a few days if I'm wrong.

Matt 26z 10-28-2004 01:10 PM

I don't like how they only use land phone lines to poll people. Younger people are much more likely to use a cell phone as their primary phone, and this group is much more in favor of Kerry.

Bush has been a failure at this point. The only reasoning to vote for him is a belief he'll get his act together real quick for the next 4 years, but presidents shouldn't be elected on potential. Bush needs to be held accountable for what he's already done and hopefully the people of America will fire him.

Phoenix 10-28-2004 01:11 PM

i hope so...i think alot of new voters will show up. more then expected

Just one of the 100 reasons I think Bush will crash and burn.

webair 10-28-2004 01:11 PM

If it's a tie, Congress will decide. Then the Senate chooses the VP. Theoretically we could have Bush as president and Edwards as VP:uhoh

doober 10-28-2004 01:22 PM

A mile?

I think you have underestimated those nazi republicans and their dirty little tacticts a little no?

Look at the dude in the other thread ( http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...adid=378756&s= ) that voted in 96 and in 2000 and now he supposedly cant vote cause he was felon in 95 lol....

I think the republicans will stop at nothing to get to where they need to be. Really, that is what should scare people the most. They have 0 morals and/or scruples, and its has become a very dangerous game at this point.

:2 cents:

mcmc 10-28-2004 01:27 PM

You keep posting stupid threads about how you think Kerry will crush Bush just so you can reassure yourself, but in the end it will be Kerry who goes down in flames, taking your hopes and dreams with him .... just another liberal democrat loser rotting on the ashheep of history.

Stocktrader, you know I like you and your opinions and only hope to hell you are right, but I think you are being overly-optimistic. I can only hope, dearly hope, you are right and I am wrong on this one.

Hell, I'll take a Kerry victory by 1 electoral vote. I don't care. I just want Bush and his religious fanatics out.

I'm not fluffing up Kerry because I hate Bush. I'm stating my 100% honest opinion and I think Kerry is going to run away with it. I'd settle for 1 electoral vote or an organized upheaval of the current administration too though.

Then why are some people voting for Kerry? It seems you would be voting on poetential, because his track record is horrible and has still yet to lay out a clear plan on anything.

Does this mean people voting for kerry are only doing so, because they are not voting for bush? What a waste of votes that would be. Follow the issues and make a clear decision whoever you vote for. Dont just vote because hes the "other guy".

and no im not voting Bush so don't slam me. It just seems most people are wasting their value, when they use decisions like "well at least it's not Bush".

woah, they only use land lines????

I know about 150 people in Atlanta that I consider friends and that I talk to on a daily basis...and I can count on ONE HAND the amount of people that have a land line....seriously, i barely know anyone that pays for bellsouth phone service here....mobiles are SO much cheaper

and as for the new registred voters....my wife and I are newly registered, and we have not been polled...and same with about 20 friends.....no one is counting them

and wasn't it at one of the rallys they had out west were they said it was the largest turnout of new voters ever in history...4 times the amount of new voters than the largest turnout ever...no one is polling them

rofl, cause bush has such a GREAT track record while already in office...hahashahahahahaha...that is the worst arguement I have ever heard....

what sucks to me is that both candidates suck ass, so I have to vote for who I think sucks the least

I won't predict the electoral vote, but I will say that Bush will need Florda in the end and will get it. The popular vote will be split 50/50, possibly 51/49 Bush

considering they already "lost" 60,000 absentee ballots, i think you may be right...did they ever "find" those ballots?

mcmc 10-28-2004 01:46 PM

Read in the newspaper yesterday:

Germany voted: more than 75% Kerry
Switzerland voted: 82% Kerry
Austria voted: 73% Kerry

Just thought you might be interested what the german speaking world would vote :)

NOT the stuff he has said during the campaign, that's just crap... it's the stands that he has taken throughout his senatorial career.

I've lived outside the US for half of my life....under socialist governments. NO THANKS.
