How much time do you spend talking on your cell phone?

This might not be a huge bombshell, but I'm on my fuckin' cell phone an awful lot!

I just looked at my "call timers" for my Nextel, and ...

For the "lifetime" of my phone - I have used a total of 938 HOURS talk time since I purchased it in May of 2003.

In approx 18 months - I've spent the equivilant of 39.083 days (1 month 9 days) talking!

So, I guess I spend 2 days and 4 hours of each month OR to break it down further ... an average of 1.75 hrs per day EVERY DAY talking on the friggin' phone!

Granted, it's mostly business - but DAMN!!!

What about you?

***Disclaimer: This does not count my back up cell phone, home phone, the car phone I discontinued in January, or any other phone I've spoken on in the past 18 months!

shima 10-28-2004 02:08 AM

You must be using SonyEricsson? :)
I don't know are there such timers on Nokia?

J$tyle$ 10-28-2004 02:10 AM

Too much, I have had £200 monthly bills lately ($360)

I have just changed my tariff so the max bill should be £75 a month with 1000 minutes a month to burn:

XPays 10-28-2004 02:18 AM

i'm taking jon's calls right now while he checks the other board

Babagirls 10-28-2004 02:21 AM

not that much. i hate cell phones and dropped calls, no signal, etc etc. so i try to get off the phone as fast as possible.

Buddy.....you showed up to lunch the other day ..with not one but two cell phones on the table.....:1orglaugh

WiredGuy 10-28-2004 02:30 AM

I honestly hate talking on my cell phone, landlines no problem, but something about the quality of a cellphone that makes me not like it. Under 2 hours per month I would say, except when I go to shows :)

I always seem to talk louder on my cell phone and I am sure my neighbors love hearing me talk about buying more fisting content.

For the past 3 years cell phone is the ONLY phone I've used. The phone line has only been used for the fax machine.

Convenience rules!

Up until January I had AT&T, Sprint, and Nextel ... dropped AT&T - and Nextel is my main cell provider ... 2way, speaker phone, and the least amount of coverage issues while traveling the country.

However, I use sprint as my back up phone just for dropped calls and loss of coverage ... I'm like a boy scout ... always prepared - (well, mostly :1orglaugh)
